The program is intuitive and user-friendly; although a comprehensive help tool is available,
MediChart Express™ is designed for the medical specialist to start using immediately
with minimal training.

A WSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) interface; as the user creates a report,
it incrementally appears on the screen.

Multiple methods of data entry, including 'hands
free', solely driven dictation. User customizable report
templates are voice driven, as are program navigation
shortcuts and macros. The entire software can be navigated
by voice as well as mouse click and a one-screen-view allows
easy entry of all the patient data necessary for a visit.
Procedure notes, office notes, OR reports, consultation
letters- all can be easily created by voice in the main
report area. Navigation is achieved through simple,
intuitive voice commands and blocks of sections and text are
automated through voice input. Every specialty has custom
forms and flow sheets, the patient records is easily built
by documentation by exception.

Speed-Easy data entry - Our Fast-Trac module allows
you to create customized templates for the normal visit;
with one click or voice command, a predetermined patient
encounter is retrieved, viewed, and printed with the
patient's current data. Visits can be built with
multiple layers of Fast-Tracs and can be set to open
Fast-Tracs by default with any user input. Automatic
entry of user default normals are the basis of our 'documentation by
exception' system. Just dictate the abnormal findings,
and a complete history is inserted with pertinent positives
and negatives. Optionally, insert information gathered from
a patient questionnaire that was filled out prior to the
visit on a secure web site or in your waiting room.
You can also automatically open a patient records from a
previous record and import relevant sections. This is
a tremendous aid in quickly documenting repeat visits.
Together with voice enabled macros you can use a few
intuitive phrases to insert standard paragraphs, treatment
plans, orders, medication regimens and more.

MediChart Express™ is seamlessly integrated into any medical office or healthcare
facility infrastructure; versions are available for a one-physician office to an
SQL-based networked multi-room hospital set-up. Written on a
robust, scaleable platform that includes Microsoft SQL
Server, the architectural design allows for a WAN deployment
with synchronization of records between sites and mobile
devices such as laptops or pen tablets.

A completely customizable database that maintains the care provider's
list of preferred diagnoses, procedures, referring physicians,
and support staff. Custom settings for each health

medical charts because they did not have to document enough of the patient encounters
to withstand an audit. MediChart Express™ solves this problem with its
ease-of-use and detailed patient encounter record keeping.
The E/M calculator is available at any time to review
if E/M coding requirements have been met as well as suggest
the necessary items required for the next higher level of
visit.

Third party integration is achieved
seamlessly, without any user input. The software is HL7 compliant and
can interface with a variety of practice management systems.
Special text such as procedures, diagnoses, medications, and
laboratory values are tagged during the course of a dictated
report so that automatic superbills, prescriptions, patient
instruction sheets and nursing /ancillary notes are created
from the main record. One and two-way interfaces, such as
patient demographics, scheduling information, and billing
information, are available for
integration with third party billing software, for a total
solution package.

include encrypted, password protected logins, as well as
permission and role directed restricted access to records
and patient data. Customizable roles allow the administrator
to assign any section of the program to a user and the data
is encrypted and secured against any unauthorized views and
modifications.

The software includes a network based fax server that
manages and batches all automated fax requests, including
letters to referring physicians, prescriptions to the
pharmacy, laboratory requests and billing transmission.

Hardware integration is available in the form of
built in interfaces for external digital devices i.e. EKG
and vital signs data. Furthermore, there are built in
interfaces to external laboratories such as Quest
Diagnostics. HL7 and ASCII interfaces to other
practice management and billing software round out our
interface modules offered.

featured, prescription module with patient tracking,
prescription reporting and one-step prescription refills.
Decision support is supplied with a complete drug monograph
database that is updated quarterly. Prescription refills and
medication order entry is automated. Prescriptions can
be easily ordered by voice or with one click.
Drug-drug interactions, drug pricing, comparison lists and
formulary information ensure the best selection of
medication and minimize prescription errors.

Health maintenance and preventive care tracking in
the form of an automatic tracking and reminder system will
provide the system with reminders of any patient health
action item that has been set in the system based on
disease, procedure age and sex related criteria. This
allows physicians to have greater management and control of
the practice as well as improved quality of care.

The nursing information system contains a full set of
nursing notes and operative reports that record patient
information before, during and after a procedure. The
forms are designed for touch screen use and the automatic,
pre-filled fields are drawn from the main patient record.
Track facility supplies, vitals, treatment regimens and
outcomes, patient care problems and essential patient
history in continuous flow sheets that span multiple visits.
There are forms for medical as well as surgical settings as
in the example of the conscious sedation flow sheets that
can track vitals, medications and patient support at
customizable intervals in an easy to use, graphic format.
The ease of use of these forms as well as patient
instruction sheets is further enhanced in that their
content is automatically generated from the physician's
voice dictation.-

Document management module includes scanning and
archiving features for external reports, old records, third
party images and any other documents that need to be
attached to the patient records. The attachments are
fully indexed and searchable and can be used towards
creating a paperless office.

Order entry and tracking modules offer complete tools
for managing order workflow. all orders are tracked by
either CPT or custom code sets, and built in reminders
activate for each stage of the order status including
'pending results', 'pending physician review', 'printed' and
'patient notified'. Orders are coordinated with third
party payer requirements such as pre-authorization
documentation and are organized for task views specific to
the office staff members that are processing the orders. In
particular, orders for laboratory data are combined
with a powerful laboratory module in which laboratory data can be downloaded, imported electronically, and scanned;
both images and reports can be stored, reviewed, and gathered into powerful reports.

Why is Medichart Express better? Because we do all of this
with voice. Our interface is simple and intuitive, and yet
gives the physician the ability to record clinical data in
free form-with voice recognition. Other software programs
have drop down menus, or pop up boxes that are voice
enabled. This is restrictive and does not emulate the
traditional method of scribbling a few notes with a pen. The
entire software program is tightly integrated with voice
